Hit by Car, Need Advice to Help with Insurance Response

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well, I have been driving for 50 years with no accidents. Currently, the biggest problems are distracted driving and drunk driving. If I get hit by some idiot, I'll take every dime I can get.

With arguments like yours, you should try to convince people to own the cheapest possible car to reduce payouts. Me, I'm thinking 2020 C8 Corvette Z51 - only 80K. The insurance will cost a lot more than a modest SUV.
