Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Another tire thread. Maxxis Detonators any good?

Since my PBK order has apparently been lost, and PBK wont do anything for 30 days. I decided to look at some other options.
Looking for a cheaper alternative to Continentals. Just would rather spend money on other things. I like the specs on the Detonators, but I have no actual experience with them.
So, how do they ride, rolling resistance, do they last?
It would be great if you have direct comparison from connie gp4000IIs and these or 5000s. To the Detonators.
