Does anyone know what tape this is?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Does anyone know what tape this is?

Hi guys,

Does anyone here know what tape is used in the picture to finish the handlebar tape? Giant and some other brands uses it to finish the handlebar tape, but I can't find it. I ordered the same handlebar tape from Giant, but it comes with some crappy smooth isolation tape stuff.

I first thought it was Scotch 23 tape, but that has some liner on it that has to be removed, so it's not the same. It's a rubbery grippy tape and it's 19 mm wide. If I Google 'grippy tape' or 'anti slip tape' I get stuff that looks like it, but not quite the same.

Any help is very much appreciated. I really love this tape to finish the handlebar tape.

. Never seen it before but it looks as if it could be a piece of another bar tape used as the finishing piece.
