I just crossed over into the multi-shoe camp today with the purchase of my second pair even though my current pair are in good shape. Down the rabbit hole I go.

2 pair, summer mtb/spd, and winter GoreTex mtb/spd when the temp goes below 40 F. Both are designed for mtb, but are used with the road, commuter, mtb, and gravel bikes. I also like to walk (or possibly run) when I get off a bike.

2 specialized road shoes, one summer with tons of venting and one winter. A pair that need to go in the garbage but since I bought them in Italy, I have a stupid attachment. One pair MTB SPD shoes which need to be replaced for actual mountain biking.

Don't own many shoes but gone through probably more shoes than any other apparel trying to find the right fit. Really sucks that while shoe may feel comfortable in the store but after a 2 hour ride and over time just feels awful. And there is no way to trial shoes other than Specialized.

If we’re speaking strictly road shoes as in 3 or 4 bolt then I have 3. Black and red Fizik R1 knit, White and Black Sworks 6, and an old pair of Giro shoes that I have as a backup.

None. I only have mountain bike shoes and use mountain style SPD pedals on all my bikes. I like being able to walk if necessary.
BTW, I only have one pair of shoes.
Had 2 pairs until recently, but gave the old one to a friend as I didn't use it and he didn't had much money.

I’ve used the same pair of dark grey Shimano SPD-SL shoes for the last ~10 years - they’re looking a little worn, but do the job. I wear them all year round, supplementing with a pair of shoe covers for cold or wet winter rides

I’ve got 3 pairs of road shoes. Although 1 pair doesn’t get used now. The other 2 pairs are identical, except one black, one white. I keep 1 pair for the indoor trainer and the other for outdoor riding.

As was asked above, the models of sports shoes can be defined by the types, and this is really an important question about why you need shoes?

Right now, I can recommend only the good online sportswear market https://www.grailify.com/en/ where you can choose the model by yourself by choosing the right category according to your needs. One thing I hardly suggest to you is not economizing on the shoes and paying attention to professional sportspeople reviews, because good footwear choices are half of your sports success.

Specialized Tahoe with SPD cleat, bought 2004? Imminently to become my 'muck' shoes for truly bad weather
Shimano MT7 SPD, so new I haven't gone for a ride with them yet
Shimano SH-R098A SPD-SL road shoes, also bought 2004? I stopped using SPD-SL pedals a long time ago, but recently got a pure road bike again so I'll be using them again this summer.

5 pairs, all MTB style SPD.
1. New pair of nice MTB shoes which are my standard riding shoe
2. Old pair that was replaced which will likely be thrown out soon
3. Triathlon specific shoe
4. Commuter shoe which is like a normal shoe for walking around, my work is casual so I just wear these all day
5. Winter boot/shoe for when it is cold
