Wowzer.

I have always found him to be a credible source of information. I believe his background is in aerospace CF of some sort, if I recall correctly. There are a couple of good videos on CF wheels he did with Cycling Maven a few yeas ago, or at least, there used to be.

We’ve seen a couple of their frames with the same damage, and refused to repair them.

The owners weren’t happy.

Are you aware of the thread on Slowtwich where they showed he fabricated wind tunnel data?

I have not seen that, but I’d love a link to that thread.

I’ve thought for a long time that he was a self-promoting wanker, that pretends to be a non-biased source of information.

Not a link to the tread itself, but if you follow the links from Josh Poertner, Robert Chung, or Damon Rinard here, https://flocycling.com/blogs/blog/fl...ni-accusations it will drop you into the middle of it (warning: it's a 22 page thread). The evidence from Flo regarding the lawyer letter also gives insight into Hambini's credibility.

Are you aware that the video in the OP is from Luescher Teknik and not Hambini? Name someone in the bike industry more credible in the knowledge of carbon than Raoul.

Cervelo could have restricted the steerer rotation by letting the bars slam into the top tube, just like every other frame!

Clearly not. Mea culpa.

No. How would I find that?

Whatever. That'll buff right out.

How many Cervelo frames actually have been damaged as a result of this, anyone know?

(And side note - does it really take 11 minutes to make that point? I realize we are Content Creators these days, but for the love of god, man, keep things crunchy)

I think that is the shortest video of his I ever saw!

He's not exactly the fastest talker ever...

Thanks very much for this link. I am certainly no wind tunnel testing expert, that is for sure, but I did find it entertaining reading.

Not a fan of the new R5 at all. Looks ok, But it's a banker bike. Better off with the R series frames they make.
