Pictures from my first ride in nice weather this year

Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

Beautiful pictures. I bet I could ride a lot further if I saw scenes like that instead of a never ending stream of cars along side me.

with that kind of scenery, you'd have to pry the bike out from the crack of my cold, dead rear-end.

Nice pictures.

That's your first day of good riding weather? You should consider firing the person in charge of the weather.

Itís the first sunny day and a decent temperature. Well second in fact,
but the first one I had to join my nieces christening.
Iím BTW told the clime over here is much like in NYC.
It has just been an unusual bad spring.

Lectron, I have a couple of questions. What is the black bar under your top tube on the Airborne and what year is the S-Works.

Thanks

There was an article in OUTSIDE magazine a couple of months ago about cycling in Norway. Have you read it? Sounds cool...in more ways than one, if you know what I mean!

I believe the CX frameís a 2001 or 2002 model, purchased 2003
as a frame only from Cambriabike. The rest of the equipment has a more recent
date to it, except for the Paul Neo Retro brakes that's been there from day one.

The black bar is a CF framepump from Blackburn.

Best regards,
