Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Similar experience, sort of tired of riding a Giant Defy with 28mm tires. After Christmas I found a good
deal on a brand new Diverge Comp E5. I ride on 'rough' pavement 95% of the time. I really like the
ride on the 35mm tires and the Future Shock really does make a difference some of the time. Using the
Shimano 105 groupset including the disc brakes has been a real treat, smooth shifting and all of the
braking power that you could ever need. I did replace the stock tires with Schwalbe Marathon Plus.
