How do i figure out what size parts I need
I have a scott solice 30 2015 that needs a fork but I have no idea what what size to get. I took it to a local shop but they couldn't help me. I also tried looking up the specs online but I didn't get very far. I also need to figure out what what size rims. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

was the shop a Scott dealer?
a shop that sells Scott bikes should be able to get the info and take care of you.

A shop couldn't help you? Thats odd. Even if it isn't a Scott shop.
Just buy a fork that is about 370mm in axle to crown length and has 45mm of offset/rake. That is a pretty neutral measurement combination. Make sure the steerer matches your head tube/headset style. It will need a straight or tapered steerer.
As for rims, there are dozens of wheelsets that would work. Something with an internal measurement of 17-19mm and an external measurement of 21-24mm will be fine. There is no exact measurement you need to follow.
