Tubes with regular short stem?
 

I can't seem to be able to find tubes with regular short stems, new "short" is 48mm which is about twice too long, with my rims they keep snapping or get ripped from the tube and they're not the thinnest of rims (cxp elite). They used to make them way shorter, does any company still makes short stems for 23c tubes?

Bike tires direct has one with a 32mm stem. Also some others less than 48. Personally I have not had any trouble with the longer stems other than they look a bit silly on a shallow rim.
