Addiction LXXIX

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Any chance to use Tagaderm as a cyclist should be taken advantage of.

No. We live in the money laundering capital of the western hemisphere. And I was thinking, yesterday, that if bribery is used in every other everyday activity, it is also very likely being used on Covid compliance issues. We're number three in the world now, behind only the USA and Brazil. Three countries whose leaders have been in denial mode from day one.

Studies do show topical neosporin or equivalent plus bandaid can improve healing and reduce scar formation. If you feel “stupid” for a couple days that’s normal but if not feeling back to normal look into post-concussion rehab.

Aware and agree. One of my cycling friends bought a modest home in Menlo Park 30 years ago. He is a pilot. Was assigned to PHL for several years which is how I met him. Now back in California and he told me how much his place is worth in current market.

Yeah. The problem is, to realize the gain you have to move someplace else. And I see everyone complaining about rain and heat and humidity. I have friends back where I grew up in PA who still ride there, but I remember the roads they're riding on - and the drivers on those roads. "You're a better man than I am, Gunda Din".

I HTFU and cut one of the lawns and mulched the final 2/3 of the flower beds anyway.

Owww! Sorry.

Gotta say this too, unfortunately: Bad idea to let a chiropractor manipulate your neck.

What kind of person doesn't mow all their yard at once (unless it takes like three hours)? Crazy.

Why, when I were a lad, I had to mow 1 3/4 acres with a walk-behind Jacobsen mower. I can't remember how long it took, apart from FOREVER!!!!

It was 110° yesterday, so I just did the small lawns, one of which was in the shade yesterday afternoon.
