Addiction LXXX

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tonight's selection is one of those gimmick wines aged in bourbon a barrel. We had others before and they are ok. Thought we give this a whirl.

Update: last night's selection was pedestrian.

Also note, that limited edition means limited to the amount they can sell to unsuspecting rubes like me.

Well, to be fair, realistically every edition is limited, the Earth being finite and all.

We picked this up for free from an older couple that is downsizing. We are supposed to be doing that in a couple years. One may ask why we are accumulating at this point. SMFH.

All my bikes are winter bikes. I don't always plan it that way, but it happens.

This is tonight's music offering. It came up on random-shuffle on windows media player this morning when I was working. Forgot how much I liked it.

My 2 bikes are all season.

I rode by that cluster of Christmas display but forgot to take a pic. I have all month to rectify that.

That might scratch the retail itch, but a bike with fenders is a really great thing.

I don’t do FaceBook but mrs datlas does. She says she got a request to friend someone who has taken my dad’s FB pic and name, ie a fake duplicate account

Is doing this a thing and what’s the point of the deception??

Same here, maybe even a couple degrees colder. I am a little worried about possible ice patches from any lingering puddles or wet roads. Will ride but with extra vigilance.

These hand carved Santa Claus figures are made by a guy up in Ohio near where we lived. He's been making one "model" each year for forty years. We stopped getting them once we moved to GA.

2018? I probably would have cellared it for a while.

You were hoping to watch the exhibition match against my Giants with Colt McCoy?
