Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

Been a while since I've seen either. I saw an AB several weeks ago.

I think I beat you by about a week. But I used Makers Mark - good bourbon with a silly gimmick all over the neck.

Mo said yesterday that he listened to a lot of the Cat to get laid in his youth. Or something along those lines. I was insinuating that you must have had to listen to a lot of his music to get spousal approval.

Another day of traumatizing the dogs. Today it's insulation - fitting baffles over the soffit vents first, sealing various other thingies, and then blowing in fiberglass insulation. So, the dogs aren't allowed in the front part of the house - because the front door is WIDE OPEN. And there are guys crawling all over the attic crawlspace over their heads.

I just hope it ends up being worth it!

Had a lot of Mx issues yesterday. Was scheduled to be at toledo around 930. Ended up at a MX base at 1 in the morning. Figured one of my crew members must have had plans in toledo for all of this bad juju. My flight attendant was meeting a friend in toledo this morning. We have one rule! Donít Make Plans. Smh.

MX=motocross

This bike is $2000 cheaper than an S-Works Tarmac. Let that sink in.

Ah gotcha

And yeah, of course she knows....

But really though, after shipping I'll be paying maybe $150.

Time to start trawling the classifieds for a rear disc and a HED trispoke I suppose. There's a lot of them on the Chicago Craigslist from all the fixie kids

The great part about building up a frame is that all your component purchases may fly below spousal radar. Mrs. GeneJockey never figured out that my Battaglin, all put together, cost >$3000. But she was totally aware that the Canyon cost $2400.

EDIT: The Battaglin was still a bargain. When I built it up, you could still buy a Merckx MX Leader, and similarly kitted it would have come to >$5000.
