Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

Hahaha, army uniforms are so close to the turf color that the first down lines show on the players' jerseys.

Now, picture that happening to a brand new, top end tire 100 yards from your front door on the very first time you rode on it. BTDT.

He is early 50ís. Roads were slick this morning. He was on his way to the ride and said in a turn his rear wheel slid out. No concussion, thankfully. Hip repair in A.M. and likely home on Monday. Since he is healthy he should have a quick recovery.

Jeopardy Question: What does a small tire aneurysm look like from the inside?

Story: I noticed rear tire had very subtle bulge at edge of tread. Investigated and saw casing defect as pictured. Outside of tire did not show any cuts. Tire was pretty old so it’s been replaced. Anyone else have similar experience??

$35 each? Pro Bike Kit sells GP5000's for $75 a pair, but they often have them on sale for less, AND you can often get coupons. If you spend >$150, the shipping is free.

Yes.

That's where I got a Centaur compact crank and UltraTorque BB cups , as well as Fulcrum Racing 5s for my Bianchi, and for a very nice price.
