Addiction LXXX

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You could fit Tennessee into Alaska 16 times! One-fifth the size of the Lower 48, Alaska is bigger than Texas, California, and Montana combined!

I get enough bear content in the local news, and don't have much desire to know what's happening in Juneau.

So I was able to get my new heart rate monitor to connect to my phone, but when I go to connect to starva via the strava app on my phone it doesn’t find it. Anybody else ever have an issue? I am not paying for strava so is that the problem?

Is the a different free app I could use, looks like cyclemeter you have to pay for as well in order to connect a device.

Hmmmmm.....Starva..........

That'd be a great name for a weight loss companion app for Strava!

Once upon a time my mom had XC skis. I took them out around the neighbourhood when we got about 3" of snow. The boots were too small and my squashed feet detracted from whatever "enjoyment" the activity was supposed to provide.
