Addiction LXXX

Notices
Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

I did, and then I upgraded everything but the frame and fork.

Now I have a box full of lightly used parts, just waiting for a frameset.

Is the a different free app I could use, looks like cyclemeter you have to pay for as well in order to connect a device.
The Wahoo app is pretty good and I don’t think I paid for it. I use it for non-cycling workouts and it uploads to Strava.

Don't forget the bowel regimen to complement the pain meds. Do it now and thank me later.

The power numbers are wrong. Way off. No one can sustain that average power, not even a doped-up pro.

I have Wahoo , it works ok. Funny story.
Last year I started using a kurt kinetic trainer. My wahoo refuses to correctly interpret the data. Reports speed in hundreds of miles per hour. Etc. After a bunch of emails to both company's I finally gave up on the kinetic in ride sensor. I just use it as a dumb trainer now.
Apparently there is some kind of ongoing argument between the 2 companys and the data scramble was done on purpose. Kinetic wants people to pay for thier app to import thier data.
So now I have 2 kinetic trainers that have been effectively lobotamized by thier own co. software.

Yeah, there's all kinds of ****ery in that area, e.g., the Rouvy app will no run a spin-down calibration on our Wahoo trainer. Ridiculous.

.
Strava has always required paid membership for HRM connection. Maybe about a year ago Strava removed BT HRM connection ability to the dismay of many, some dropped Strava because of this. It has recently in last few months been brought back (to the paid version). Connecting BT HRM to Strava the first time is fussy. The trick is to not pair using the phone settings interface, but instead let Strava pair it after launching Strava. I find the new version to work quite well.

I did use Wahoo App to record rides with Wahoo HRM (TICKR) while Strava was 'broken' One benefit is Wahoo lets one configure the pause start and stop announcements and I set them to announce HR so whenever I pause ride (typically for a light) it is announced through my BT Speaker. (since I keep phone is jersey pocket, not mounted to bars)

For GPS recording alone I see no reason to use paid Strava since Wahoo works so well. But I use Strava since I have paid and I like using the 'Beacon' feature for the many more solo ride I have done this year.

Same.

Door, Bumper Clear which is a podcast with NASCAR Spotters as the hosts, and the Dale Jr. Download, which speaks for itself. Everyone knows Dale Jr.

Crazy-Ass Nascar fans, you know. In other news, I did get my Bubba Autographed car. Pretty cool, I'll tell ya. Waiting on my my mask car.

At first glance, this looks like the kind of thing I'm looking for. Psychology, finance, history, politics, legal, culture. etc. Sorry LAJ , not NASCAR.

Anyone on Cigna medical insurance? I'm picking a plan on the marketplace and it's not easy figuring out the drug coverage part. Mouse drugs are $$$$.

You should have had your clock set to awaken you at 5AM to take some narcs (percocet?) and stay ahead of the pain. After making that mistake with my first shoulder I made sure to get it right for my second shoulder.
