Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Mine is sort of like that. My 420mm camera lens just didn't cut it. Try again in 800 years!

A possum just ran into my garage and I have no idea where it went. I do know that I want it out. Any ideas?

Leave the door open and use a broom to beat around, flushing it out.

Strangely, a chipmunk got in to my garage and would *not* run out of the open 2-car garage door.... Instead, it waited until I opened the small side door that it had come in through.

No pizza today, 4 of us went for a 50 mile ride in a different area because it wasn't windy. We stopped at a store which has a bakery inside. I grabbed a small cherry pie off the shelf and my friend wanted a cannoli but nobody was in the bakery. We were outside when my other friend came out with cannolis for each of us. Total sugar overload. I never learn.

And your bike mechanic.

They don't hurt anything, they eat ticks and other pests. My ex and I were sleeping with the door open because it was hot and a little one came into the house. The cat woke me up to tell me about it. The thing was swinging from the curtains in the living room and had pooped on the carpet. My wife and I chased it around the house for 20 minutes.

To avoid going all P&R, I won't attribute this, but this popped up on Twitter:

What if instead of a vaccine we just were able to get exposed to a weak version of the virus that enabled us to build the antibodies we need to fight the real thing
Gee, if only we'd thought of that, we might not have all this polio everywhere.

I'm not sure "pooped on the carpet" is consistent with "They don't hurt anything".

Ive looked everywhere can’t find it. Possums play dead when they are scared right?

I left the doors open for about 30 minutes so I am hoping it ran out.

Building this tonight, I’m thinking about sending santa a bill for labor cost.

Put an open can of cat food out on the floor. Turn of the light, and when it goes for the food chase it out with a broom. Or, live trap with cat food as bait.

They can carry rabies so you should get it out.
