Addiction LXXX

Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

Don't ask me.. I still like my old 500's, though the 520 works just fine.

I believe you are OK on apple. Different update, different os.
I did talk to a bud who sold his snap to another buddy an he is also unable to use the fit app. Same trash

It just floors me that the people @ wahoo just said eff it and went on a week long holiday after that update. Lots of pissed off people. I am also wondering now if my inability to connect the lap top is connected with all of it..

One of my cycling friends is a software guy for Hammerhead and allegedly their Karoo 2, just out, is supposed to be quite good too. Of course, he may be slightly biased.

Her head light ( my old one) stopped working half way through so she was a little nervous but she HTFU and kept going. Got her to go all out on the last straight away and she hit 20 mph so that was pretty sweet. All in all I was stoked on our first ride together and hope we have many more.
Thats great Bam! Good times!

I looked for one of those a little while ago and couldnít find one.

I think iíll stick with garmin, thought process, I want the varia eventually and havnt ruled out the vector PM. I donít think it matters, but I would like to think everything would work smoother if it was all garmin.

Appreciate the advice.

I could do the Mount Wilson ride tomorrow, or just do the flat part of it, or just the climbing part. It sometimes has 200 riders but probably not this time. I think I've done the climbing part 16 times. Some years there is too much snow or ice to reach the summit.

Another club is doing a coastal ride and it's about an hour and ten minutes to drive there. Maybe I'll just stay home.

Am I the only one that doesn't have a fancy 530, 830 or 1030? I have a Garmin watch and feel it is great for me.

Philadelphia is at 499 murders for the year. Only 69 minutes to get to 500. 😞

The last time I used the Avocet was in 2007 and I had to cut and lengthen the wire so it would reach the bar on my touring bike.

I have a Garmin 35 that I wear on bike shop days, and if I'm on a bike without a mount.

My main GPS is a 520.

I was watching the TV a few minutes after the civilized world welcomed 2020+1 and a graphic comes up that says 51 minutes until midnight CST.

LOL why bother?

Unlike DougRNS I didn't quit on 2020; I HTFU until the bitter end. Even got an achievement.
