May be impossible to get outdoors this weekend with the poor air quality from the fires and the agricultural activity right now. maybe the air will be better at the coast. We are all going a bit stir crazy, but I am hesitant to pack up our bikes and invade someone elses community for recreational purposes.

The air was good down here in SoCal . Did a short 23 miles and could’ve ridden all day. Nice and cool with patches of fog when I got to the coast

Only 19.6 miles last night. Right hip and lower back have been having issues after about an hour lately. Not sure if it is bike fit or I did something.

Got out for 72 miles this morning in Ft. Worth. With the wind, I chose to head out on our trail system on an out and back as the return trip would have a tailwind. I didn't account for how crowded the trail would be with the nice weather, but still a very pleasant ride. Also found a park that was new to me.

Got out of town and rode from Big Bear Lake to Lake Baldwin which is a dry bed now. Beautiful ride at 6750 elevation. Did some version of the ride on 3 days. Just shy of 30 mi each day with some route variation. Ride start around 7:00 am at 41 degree and 60 at finish. Was able to test my merino wool tights and jersey for the first time. Very enjoyable solo rides.

did a great 47km ride on Saturday. I wanted to do 60-80km but i had to get back and seal some cracks in my backyard.
felt great, my pace was slow but that's because I just moved to the area so instead of pushing myself I was more taking in the scenery as the leaves are starting to change and everything looks incredible right now. It was 6c outside though so I had to bundle up for it. Next weekend and the weekend after should be great for colours.

I've been getting quite a few commuter miles lately, so I just did a relatively short ride in the mountains Saturday morning. The mornings are getting quite cool, but if one dresses for it they are sublime.

It has been hard to get the rides in lately. Saturday was the first fall (by FL standards) morning bike ride. Reasonable temps, overcast, but still a bit humid. I rode to Flatwoods park for 45 miles. Sunday was rained out.
