Bottom Bracket for 70's Bianchi
I have another old Bianchi road frame coming my way and I'm looking trying to have an idea as to what specs I need in a bb to accommodate it.
I'm already assuming that I'm going to need italian threading, I'd like sealed cartridge bearings, however my uncertainty lies in the axle/spindle dimensions. I'm planning on putting on an old TA double crankset on there. Right now I'm thinking of something along the lines of a recent campy that would accomodate a double so 105mm?
Any input would be much appreciated as my experience is limited when it comes to not only bottom brackets, but vintage frames as well.
Thanks much!

Spindle length needs to be matched to crank.Don't know the specs on the old TA stuff, but alot of the older stuff used the longer spindles. An e-mail to Sheldon Brown at www.harriscyclery.com may get you the answer. He knows the older stuff and does reply .
