The wonderful days of baseball, and Hank Aaron was part of it. It doesn't hold the same fascination for me nowadays, but that doesn't mean it's a bad product. Gibson, Brock, Lolich, McClain, McCovey, Mays and on and on. Those names are magic, and todays guys just don't have that.

But, I'm old.

I'm just glad I wasn't in one of them. I didn't go to work that day after my neighbor came over and told me the road was closed. I wondered how the people got down from there.

It's looking a little catty-wampus, like it was damaged as the road disappeared below it.

I don't know what that option is, nor did I know we have a date this summer.

I think Vol is patiently waiting for the return of the 7-layer burrito at Taco Hell.

Sofritas. It's actually quite good.

Believe it or not I've only been to Chipotle two or three times.

Time to spend the $600 stimulus check.

I quit playing Powerball when it went up to $2, switched to MegaMillions for a while but then it went up to $2 per pick.

The reason it's catty-wampus is because it was heading for the exit ramp from the left lane. At least, that's how they roll here.

I go there two or three times a month. So decadent, I know.

Huh. When I rode with PenVelo, on their Saturday and Sunday rides, they always did a no-drop, double paceline rollout for the first 8 miles, then the racer group would take off while the recreational/century riders would proceed at a more dignified pace. For me, that was on top of the 8 miles of riding I had to do to get to the meetup spot. They actually had a pre-meetup spot, 3 miles from the formal meetup, that included 2 climbs of about half a mile at 6 or so percent, so if you did that, you'd be pretty warm already - especially if you got to the pre-meetup spot a bit late and had to chase! Ask me how I know.

How funny. I rode with PenVelo in the late 80's, early 90's. Those were some of the best rides ever!

I worked at a Chevy dealer where we serviced the things. When I started there the warranty pay was amazing. GM would allow crazy amounts of extra time because the factory times were based on a bare chassis.
Driving the 35 footers with a 454 engine was ridiculous, especially if there was wind. We even had some of the carburated ones come in.

Imagine how often I could get bars wrapped if I had $1 billion? At least once every other year. No more oxidation.
