Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There were some women that raced a J24 around here back when I was racing that had a boat named ”Does this boat make my butt look big?” Fun bunch, and pretty good racers.

Ahhhhhh!!!! Took the Ritchey out for a spin today, and fell in love with it yet again. Every time I ride one of my bikes for the first time in a while*, I think, "Oh, yeah! THAT'S why I have this one!" Plus with the Ritchey, I think, "If I'd stopped with this one, that would have been okay." But I'm glad I didn't.

In the hills West of Stanford, I saw this season's first poppies.....

And there were daffodils in other places where it wasn't convenient to stop. And fields of mustard in bloom. It was about 61 degrees or so, and not a cloud to be seen.

*To be completely accurate, this isn't the first time in a while that I've ridden the Ritchey, since it's been my trainer bike for a couple months now. But not on the road for a while. Road is COMPLETELY different!

I thought about turning the heater in my car off driving home, but didn't, on principle. Not falling for it. 5-6 more weeks of winter.

Hey DougRNS

Have you tried what someone here (seedsbelize2?) recommended? Hanging on a bar to help your back? It can't be any more quackish that lasering it.
