This is going to sound lame, but I just can't remember. I've tried to go back and log on from time to time, but could never get on based on the usernames that I thought I used. I also changed it once or twice when you could do that as boat names changed. To give you an idea, Mojo is the name of my boat, and it's 31'.
I'm going to go back and see if I can figure it out just out of curiosity.

Who’s that? I was generally friendly, but argumentative and occasionally piled on in a not-so-nice way, but God did some of those guys ask for it! I remember writing some trolling posts about a totally insufferable guy in bad Hemingway, with a sock I used for hit jobs or saying things that could get me in trouble in real life, since a bunch of people knew me. It was a basically unmoderated and very active forum with a lot of very funny people.

The one they did in Central California had rain and the steep dirt sections were difficult with the vintage gears.

Damn, you are good! That was one of my names on that site. Seriously.
Took the name Mojo from Austin Powers since the boat was the essence of my sex drive and that which give me my legendary sexual prowess and potency. But, I was only fooling myself in thinking that.

Brings back to mind a story about when I was the head of our club's handicap committee. Had one guy who was trying to get something like a 186 rating on a boat that should not have been over 150ish. He tried to tell me that the rating numbers on Wiki were the right thing to look at when I was showing him actual club ratings in our area. He kept trying to argue, so I went into Wiki and changed all the number for his boat. Then printed it out and told him that Wiki now rates your boat at 32. He caved, but it got a lot of laughs among our long time "serious racer" members.
SA was how I met Favela and the Mauri Pro guys, among a lot of other people that were fun to hang around with on the water or over a drink.

Yes, it was essential to have a sock or ten.

Sailing in general has provided us more community than we’ve had since our grad student and postdoc days. Kids and work didn’t seem to select people in the same way.

Had an amazing ride today. Had a lot of pent of aggression and stress from the past couple of weeks. Work has been getting me down and it’s really all just me and dealing with my issues. I typically judge how the ride is going by how I meet miles vs time. So typically a good day I reach 10 miles close to 30 mins and 20 miles close to an hour but usually not on the money. Today I blew the 10 mile mark by over a minute. 20 miles was right on the money and that would have been faster but some people on the jamestown island were blocking my path. I couldn’t find my summer gloves so I went out in my winter gloves and they got to hot so opted for nothing. I didn’t really mind it at all. I unlocked some achievement on intervals.icu for holding my heart rate at a certain level.
Saturday is looking like I might have some good news to share, don’t want to spoil it until then.

Cannondale rebuilt! No pics yet. I'll take some tomorrow when I do the shakedown cruise. Still waiting on the matched RX100 wheelset, but I'll make do with the mismatched 105 wheelset I have. Not sure I want to ride the dryrotted Vredesteins, though, even on a short, mostly flat ride. But we'll see.
After I built it up I measured it to compare with my other bikes. It's got the largest saddle-to-bar drop of my bikes, though only by 3mm. I'm curious to see how it feels. The fit seems closest to the Battaglin, which has been my raciest bike.
Setting up the indexed DT shifting was a snap, or perhaps more accurately 7 clicks. The action is very positive, and once adjusted the indexing works perfectly. The front took a little fiddling, because the center of the seat tube attaches to the BB in front of the BB center, so the derailleur is hard to align with the teeth of the big ring. The derailleur itself is the braze-on type, with a clamp-on adapter. I used a shim between the adapter and the derailleur to line it up better and now it shifts great. It's friction anyway, so as long as it goes from one ring to the other on command it doesn't have to be perfect.
Gearing should be interesting. It's got the same 53/39 and 12-25 that I used to run on the Ritchey, and I used to climb a lot with that gearing. But I was younger then! Don't think I'll do any LONG climbs with it, but there are some short ones that may be worth trying.

I've been running a 50/34 with a 12-25 for the last few years. I like it quite a bit for my terrain and strengths (we do have some steep-ish pitches, but they're short enough that I can torque it out). Going to even taller gearing in hillier country? Yow. I'd have to stop alongside the road to look for my patellae after they blow off and in to the shrubbery.

Oh hell - who am I kidding? It probably wouldn't move the needle much for me, either way. Now if there were a 12-28 available, that'd be a serious consideration.
