Hmmmm - I've been sitting on the fence for my yearly tire purchase, just about to buy some Michelin Power Road TLRs, but these MSRPs are pretty good and they're one of the few tubeless options available with tan sidewalls. I might have to handwring a bit.

Ahhh crap another tan wall option and they look really nice and don't weigh a lot. This might be a good year to try new tires. Maybe the eagle will land on one of my bikes.
I would love for them to modify their winged foot to be in road shoes though. At least cheekily for an advert or two.

The article indicates that Goodyear says that they're available and shipping, but I'm not seeing any of the tubeless w/tan sidewalls in stock anywhere. For that matter, they're still not even mentioned on Goodyear's US website. Harrumph.

I found some of the tubeless, tan sidewall Eagle F1s on ebay but, after a bit of research, I see that the tubeless versions seem to be clunkers compared to the regular clincher version. There were some reports of poor relative performance (to the reg clinchers) and that was recently corroborated by Bicycle Rolling Resistance. I'm going to take these results with a grain of salt, but I'm also going to take the Goodyears off of my shortlist for tires this year (I'll likely get the Michelin Power Road TLRs).

I've been using the michelin tubeless for a few months. They seem to wear well and roll nicely with the 62-64psi recommended by the ZIPP pressure calculator. An accurate pump gauge is a must.
