Anyone have experience with fizik shoes, specifically do they fit true to size, I usually wear a 42.5. Any other thoughts positive or negative appreciated.

Sorry but no experience with Fizik shoes. However, you'll want to probably indicate what brand of cycling shoe your 'usual' 42.5 size is referring to.

I hear they are a narrow shoe, so if you have a narrow foot, they might work well.

Find the size chart. I wear an 8.5 US and 42.5 in Sidi, but 41 in Fizik or Shimano. My tempo shoes looked too narrow for my medium width feet, but they worked out fine. I've even worn them with heavy winter socks. I'd never owned shoes with a BOA closure before. Be sure you know how to open it fully.

Same like Dave. I have the Tempos and they look narrow on me but they fit just fine. These are my first BOA shoes and I like the incremental adjustment capabilities.

I have a set of Fizik R3 Aria shoes. They fit true to size for me.

Measure your foot heel-to-toe, look over the size chart for the particular shoe you're considering. Unfortunately not all brands tell you the width, or foot volume.

My feet measure 11.25", I usually wear US size 10.5 or 11 in most shoes, which is generally 46 or 46.5 in euro sizing. My Fizik R1 Infinitos are size 46 which fit me well using Specialized BG Red insoles. (I have flattish feet.) I would characterize the shoes as medium width, medium volume. I have a low volume instep so pick up extra space with a 1.5mm footbed in each shoe. I think they're true to size meaning if you measure your foot and look at their size charts it'll probably fit.

They fit me real snug. I ended up with Sidi genius 10.

I've got a pair of Terra Powerstrap X4's in EU45 for the gravel/CX bike. They fit true to size for me; actually quite roomy.

Compared to my Giro Empire ACC's, these fit narrow in the same size.
