Can you pick out a rule change in the TDF this year?
I noticed a major change this year Stages 14 & 15. Guess?

can't remove helmets on mountain finishes? that's what i thought i noticed.

More likely the helmet sponsors complained about the scenes of all the riders tossing the helmets as soon as they were allowed.

j/k I was just thinking back to the way my Dad said people used to get whenever somebody pitched/batted(?) a baseball into the stands and everybody would jump up trying to catch it.

Some riders would get frustrated and throw them to the side of the road, creating a big hazard if the helmet defleted back onto the road.
