Quick Wahoo Kickr question
Am I supposed to unplug this thing every time I am done, or is there some other way to turn it off? It stays on all the time, not sure if that is a bad thing or not from a longevity standpoint.

Wahoo recommends unplugging it. You don't need to go all the way to the wall, you can just unplug it where the adapter attaches at the base. Not sure it really matters though, I have forgotten to unplug many times and nothing bad happened.

it is probably ok to leave it plugged in all the time. it should only contribute to global warming if that is your thing. personally i remove power every time. i did not like unplugging the small DC end becasue i think that connector is crap and a weak link. i ended up plugging it into a wall outlet that is switched. both the kicker and a laptop get power from this same switched wall outlet.

I have mine plugged into 4-plug strip that is switched: I turn the strip off every night, before bed, but it has stayed on all evening without consequence.

I also pull the plug out of the wall, but the suggestion to use a power strip that has an On/Off toggle switch is a good one, but the first option is very easy to do unless the outlet is in a hard to reach place.

I pull it after every ride (I forget once in a while) mainly so if we get a lightning hit, it will not fry the Kickr or the Climb.
