Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

Frame Availability

I think I have my equipment issue handled. Now for the most stressful part, will Trek have any 60cm Madone frames in stock. Looking at the website, my guess is no. There were some 2019-20 frames, but not in my size. I remember talking to customer service once a very long time ago and they told me they donít make a 60cm frame until one is ordered, that was back when Trek actually made bikes in the U.S. I hope that Trek will get back to me Friday. I have a Domane, but I donít like riding it much when things start speeding up. It on the heavy side.

Yeah...ok. I'm sure it's really slowing you down.

Over 2,000 posts on this forum and you turn to this source to determine availability of a bike?

Donít flatter yourself, or do if it helps your self esteem. I am waiting for Trek to tell me what is available. I am a little worried about the answer, given the what they have on their website.

23Lbs? Is your entire cockpit made by Brooks? My 59cm steel bike weighs slightly less than that.

Might be difficult to get frames, if so many are needed to actually sell complete bikes. Don't know. Will be interesting to see how the year plays out.
