Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Actually, they're kinda cool. Maybe a person wearing them can freak other riders out and drop them easier!

I think Briko and Rudy Project would have to be the coolest looking, and clearest cycling glasses around.

I had a pair of rudy project, mmmmmmm whatevers..............

Great for visibility while hunched over the bars due to the frame sitting hi on the brow.

I would have bought them again, but the frame broke one day after falling from my face to the tile floor as I took off my helmet. I was shocked the frames snapped, but **** happens.''

As far as cycling glasses go I really think Rudy and Oakley make the best stuff for comfort and visibility.

Have you contacted them? Their lens replacement program is pretty good, so I'm wondering what they'd be able to do to you in terms of replacing the frame.

zerorh+ all the way. Hard to find in the US, but well worth it if you can get a hold of them.

Just my two cents.

I've seen Jan wearing Rudys in the mountains that are frameless on the bottom edges. Does anyone know what model they are? I haven't had a very good look at them from the front (French media).

Probably Freeon's or Rydons. Of course, there's no way anybody here will be able to purchase the same glasses Jan has.... Not that I would want to have the glasses or anything with the rainbow stripes on them, for so many reasons.

My girlfriend actually saw a picture of Jan with those glasses and asked if he was wearing them for gay pride. Heh. That would be cool I guess, but in the pro-peloton *****exuals would have to have some other designation besides the rainbow if they wanted to show their "colors".

Try sending them back to Rudy Project. I bought a pair and the lens got scratched, a nice deep groove from an open pen knife left in the car glove box, the same day. I nealy cried... 'cos they're NOT cheap.

Any way I noticed on their web site that they have a lens replacement guarantee. So I sent them the lenses and got a new pair for a small handleing fee. I don't know if they'll replace your broken frames but it may be worth a try.

The glasses you see Jan wearing are the factory sponsored editions of the glasses. I could get a pair if I agreed to exclusivly wear Rudy glasses but I love my Oakley's and I have two pairs.

You can buy the rainbow glasses, I've seen many of them here in the shops. You would have to be a tool to wear rainbow glasses though if you didn't earn them.

You could wear them with your yellow jersey on your Livestrong Trek, I guess...
