sore feet

When I ride the outside of both of my feet are quite sore. Even with a relatively short ride. It's like pressure is being placed on both sides pushing them out. Is there some sort of simple adjustment I can make to relieve this pressure? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

You know, it's tough to say, but it depends on several things. The ones that comes to mind given your very brief discription could be worn out shoes that need replacing, and/or you need more foot support while riding... you might want to try talking to someone about some better insoles. The ones that normally come with shoes aren't doing your feet many favors. But again, it's tough to say without a more thorough discription of your training, mileage, previous experience, age of shoes, pedal system, general foot problems in other sports or other shoes, etc...

my shoes aren't worn out and I have insoles. I don't ride too much. I'm thinking if I adjust the cleat position slightly this might help, but I'm not too sure. Don't want to make matters worse. Anyone use wedges under cleats with any success?

Do your street shoes wear out along the outer edges? If so, cleat wedges like LeMond's LeWedge product may work well for you. They are a lot cheaper than full orthotics.
