Interesting. I can't pull that thing off if I WANT (slight exaggeration). I have 4 bottles with the new V3 cap. How seriously should I take this?

I have one of those. Now the question is, is it worth going through the hassle to get new $10 water bottle?
edit: oh, you just get a new cap, not a whole new bottle.

It has nothing to do with being of a certain age or anything like that it is a recall and if you need to participate go for it, if not whatever.

I just bought 2 of these last week. Thankfully they are good to go!

I have two and very happy with them, ordered 2 more.
I am not even bothering to look to see if they need to be recalled. Like most things just be sensible with them when they are taken apart to clean etc.

lol I just got home from buying two of them. Luckily, neither of them have the affected date codes. Shops may have pulled the offending ones off the shelves by now.
