i just wondering about giant if they have some "bad side" for the TCR frame cuz i've read in this forum that he said "....WHATEVER you do, do not buy a giant, they tend not to honor their warranties. My brother has a carbon TCR 1 and the frame cracked at the chain stays, and they would not replace the frame for him, even though it wasn't because of a crash.".is that true?how about other biker experience?cuz the answer will helping me out so much for making my final decision to buy TCR 2 sooner

Never had a problem with their warranty. They have been exellent the few times I've had to take them up on it.
Also, unless your shop has a TCR2 already in stock in your size, you won't be able to get one. Giant is out of them and is now shipping the TCR limited, which is the identical but for a wheel swap and is $100 cheaper. |
I have had no problems with Giant honoring their warranty. I had an old CFM mountain bike ('93) and two years ago the carbon started to peel/crack on the seat tube. I took it to my local Giant dealer and they sent me a new carbon XTC frame with in 2 days.
The quality of their bikes is good and from my experiance have good customer service. |
