So if you DID win the Ride with Lance...

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So if you DID win the Ride with Lance...

What would you ask him? What would you talk about?

Probobly stuff about Sheryl Crow... I'd try not to get too personal. You might find yourself dropped somewhere in the middle of Texas.

Get him to sign it, put it on ebay, and who knows, maybe retire.

I usually don't plan any conversations. I'm sure he has heard everything being asked so I would hate to sound repetitive. I'd just see what pops up.

No, ok, reality sits in, not sure what I would ask him. I might just stare for awhile, I'll have to get back to you on this one.

I'd start with the same question I ask all my riding partners:
"Do you know CPR?"
Given my shockingly poor physical condition, I wouldn't even try to keep w/ him. I think I'd insist that he rode circles around me for the entire ride-one legged.
I'd probably just do my best to make him laugh.

I'd want go on his favorite rides in the hill country and chat about the scenery.

*edit: by hill country I mean Texas Hill Country, outside of Austin towward Wimberly (around where I was married) etc. Not to be confused with generic hill country
