Thoughts on Giant OCR Zero 05 Versus Trek 1500 05?
Hi all, considering new wheels;

Front fork Composite straight blades, w/ alloy 1-1/8" threadless steerer, for short brake arms BB set Shimano Ultegra integrated in crankset Crank set Shimano Ultegra w/ integrated BB Chain Shimano Ultegra 10 speed Head set VP 1-1/8" threadless cartridge alloy adjusting cup semi-integrated Handlebars Giant Racing Components Handlebar stem Giant Racing Components Brakes Shimano Ultegra Hubs Shimano Wheelset Rims Shimano Wheelset Tyres Hutchinson Top Speed Derailleurs (front/rear) Shimano Ultegra triple Gear shifters Shimano Ultegra 3x10 speed Cassette Shimano Ultegra 10 speed Saddle Fi'zi:k Pavé Eco Seat post Alu Giant Racing Components Weight 8.9 kg AFAIK the components are about equal, hence the price difference is the frame; the OCR series has the same throughout from £300 to £1000, is it decent? Furthermore the tyres on the OCR are 700x25c, used to 23c, is the size much diff? Ridden the T1500 at LBS, know its decent, and a TCR Zero which was awesome but too much money, how is the OCR Zero? Cheers! James |
