Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There's already a thread like this up in the stickies.
What road bike do you have?
Pictures missing from about the first 300 posts.

Those can't possibly both fit you.
I like the green paint.

You're right. lol The white one belongs to my partner who's 160 cm(5'3"). The other one's mine. It was brand new when purchased. The man who bought it originally passed away suddenly, never rode it and his kids didn't have the heart to part with it until 2018. It hung on his garage wall never ridden for 25 years. .When I got it home I changed the tubes/tyres and brake pads. Greased the headset, lubed the chain, skewers and ders. The cables covers were all dry rotted so I changed them out, too. The cables themselves were all fine.

What joy it is to ride. Older technology, but effortless shifting, smooth power transfer, excellent climbing or decending. I've put about 1000 km on it since I got it. The amount would be more, but as a utility/commuter cyclist primarily I don't do recreational all that much. But, when I do it's a genuine pleasure on this old Avanti. Smooth like buttah.

In looking at yours I'd hazzard a guess of mid 80s? Judging by the lugwork they're not toys. lol Did you blast and powdercoat or rattle can? Either way the paint is flawless. Another obvious thing is that you must be around 6'4" as those framesets are huge. Really well done. 👍 Topeak Road Morphs, too. The ONLY frame pump that matters. lol
