Shimano Barrel Adjuster At Rear Derailleur ( RD-8000)

Just wondering if anyone is aware of this and/or has had an issue with the Shimano RD-8000 barrel adjuster at the derailleur ? Video below of suspected issues and replacement steps .

Those adjusters are pretty bad. That video is horrible, the guy has absolutely zero mechanical skill and really has almost no idea what he's doing. That said, replacing the barrel adjuster is a good idea.
And of course this thread should be posted in 'bicycle mechanics'.

Thanks for the response CXwrench - I agree he could have been smoother but I have that same Derailleur and it's good information to be aware of - I could follow him well enough to duplicate what he did but he did make an error when saying the pinch bolt takes a 5/16" hex key - it actually takes a 4mm key , the 5/16" is very close to 8mm which is much too big - I took a screen shot at the moment he pulled off the old 3-part barrel adjuster and to be on the safe side for the future I ordered a Shimano RD-6800 barrel adjuster , around $5.00 from Performance .

I posted this in the Mechanics section but left it here as well because I wanted to preserve our responses .
