I finally did it
Today I feel like a man. I finally peed while riding. That's right- I had to pee, and I just whipped it out and did it without stopping. Talk about a liberating experience. If you've never done it, you should try it. The hardest part is getting over the stage fright and just letting it go.
Now I can mark my territory all across the countryside. |
Thanks for sharing.

Um, okay. Remind me not to draft off you.
|
Had the feeling in Spain. The group leader/pro called a potty break. "Where?" He says, "Anywhere. This is Europe."
|
Did you get any pee on your bike? That is my biggest concern - a strong crosswind blowing steaming hot P!$$ all over everything. Nevertheless, congratulations on your "accomplishment".
|
Plus you would have to give it that extra push at the end to clear the pee stream away from your hips and bike. Then there is the last little bit.... :D
|
wow, you are a man.
|
dude that is nasty, we live in a civilized culture for a reason, find a rest room or rest stop and use it, remind me to NEVER ride behind you!!!

If you figure out #2, let me know. ;)

#2? Simple.
A back-on-the-saddle climbing position is best; unfortunately, the direction of travel of the rear wheel while moving forward tends to throw turds into your seat tube and rear brake. This is assuming you don't have enough pressure built up to toss them over the back of the wheel. |
If you figure out #2, let me know I also believe the Camelback foks have a device called the "Bi-catheter" to solve the on-bike pee issue. A fluid recycling system is in development by the same folks ("now you can ride all day and never have to stop for water!") |
Ok, I need some technical details here. What works best? Did you opt for a through-the-leg "exit strategy"? Or a traditional over-the-top method? Did you manage with just one hand? Or did you have to ride hands free? I'm assuming pedalling simultaneously is not possible, so you have to plan for a minute in advance for not being able to pedal? Or not?
This sounds like a crucial development toward the holy grail of being able to ride 24 hours a day all the time. |
Well now you have something to write home about.
