note the weight is about the same as a Ritchey alloy stem

I don't think it's ugly but, at 150g, it's hardly lightweight.

I would not trust that thing not to break in two.

looks like it could support hanging some truck nuts off from it.

That needs the silca gps mount added to it to really complete the wastefullness and pointlessness of it all.

I wonder how much a 3-D printed bicycle frame with the same technology would cost. If a little itty bitty stem costs this much, I bet a full frame would easily cost $10K or more.
