It shouldn't matter whether a whole group or just parts are offered, unless there's a price break. Some buyers might want to try using their old 11 speed crank, for example. Some of those prices are higher than force axs. Force shifters with calipers run $332-350.

I think the full group sets are being snatched up by the bike manufacturers first. I just ordered a new bike with the 105 12spd Di2 setup.

I think there are lots of things available for pre-order, at least through a shop, either brick and mortar or online. I put in an order for the DA 12spd groupset months ago with my local shop and I am hoping they'll be able to get it for me before the end of the year.
