How To Watch La Vuelta
I've paid €15 to watch this race.
The English commentary today was laughing at at the rider that was awarded the combativity award on the previous day at the same time that Thomas de Ghendt was ahead of everyone and the commentators said that De Ghendt was dropping back to the peloton. The TV pictures clearly stated " cabeza del carrera".
Rather than promoting anglophone cyclists and laughing about a Spanish cyclist that won an award the previous day, just commentate on the race.
And GCN / Eurosport / Discovery Plus need to stop their one sided opinions.
I do not pay €15 per month for Robbie McEwan's "comedy".

Sounds low class.
I paid 5 dollars to watch it on Peacock in USA. I am sick of Bob Roll and Christian VandeVelde but that’s who we get. Bob Roll keeps mispronouncing Jumbo Visma as Jumbo Veeeeesma. Oh well, the racing is good even if the commentary sucks.
PS there is a separate sub forum “Pro racing for the fans” a mod may want to move this.

Jumbo Veesma is .... the way the people ion Jumbo Visma pronounce it.
What bugs me is when Bob and Chris say "Vin-ga-goo."
I prefer the Brit announcers which usually do the Grands Tours for peacock, but they are not offered for this race.
In any case .... The only time you really need announcers is when riders attack or you got in late and need a recap. Otherwise the announcers are just babbling because everyone in broadcasting is afraid of "dead air," not apparently having consulted with the audience which would generally much prefer only essential race-oriented commentary.

I do like and appreciate the quick recognition of riders by the commentators. I can ID many of the top riders, but am clueless on some of the peloton fodder (noting that all the riders in the peloton deserve respect of effort).
Commentating is a very tough job, and balancing the need for race info with 'color' commentary is a delicate balance. When the race drones on because that often is what's needed, the color becomes necessary to keep us from falling asleep. Its part and parcel of events which have long time/distance spans. But it also is part of the 'story' of the race.
There are commentators who go 'off-topic' a bit too much, but that's where scanning BF during a race, comes in... LOL!
NBC has little appreciation for cycle racing. I'm surprised they still bother.... But TDF and P-Roubaix must bring in some reasonable revenue.
Bike racers just don;t provide the histrionics which networks and fans of sports like Amer. Foot, Basket & Baseball, expect. Still, at least we're getting some coverage of events, and thankfully GCN+ adds a signficant coverage of races normally not available to us in the US.
The Vuelta coverage by NBC , time-wise, is certainly not what I'd hoped for - but something is better than nothing... 'Highlights' of any race are totally inadequate, and I don;t bother.

Title doesn't seem to match the narrative given.
Seems you are watching the Vuelta. But just don't like the commentator or commentators. I guess you could get a VPN and try to get a feed from some other region. However at some point you probably won't like those commentators opinions either.

I heard Bob Roll say that the guy in Red was asking Mark Soler, "what are you doing? Were you born yesterday?" when Soler tried to attack on the flat between mountains while the whole peloton was going flat-out to shut down all attacks.
Some might have found that "insulting," (which in today's PC world means, "I ate too much cheese, my bowels are blocked, I couldn't sleep, so I hate the world and will whine incessantly!") but I figured that is probably pretty much how the riders might talk to each other .... they are close companions if not always buddies, and they are all very competitive. And Mr. Roll has been in a lot of pelotons.
Mr. Roll also caught on when Mark Soler was shouting and gesturing at another rider---Mr. Roll noticed that the rider launched a snot rocket just as Soler passed him, and Soler was not too happy .... only an insider would notice or know about such stuff.
So ... if Robbie McEwan wants to ridicule a rider a little, I figure he has probably said worse directly to that rider during his years of racing .... I can handle it.
But, as with almost all BF content .... "Whatever."

So complain to the broadcaster.

To answer the question: GCN+ through a VPN set to UK. You get every race and you get UK commentators, who generally are much better than US commentators.

Seems like someone didn't notice the OP used € in their post and even said they were using GCN / Eurosport / Discovery Plus and specifically mentions Robbie McEwan by name.
So I'd think it's not GCN that they are wanting.
