Phenom saddle

I have 15 rides on the phenom saddle and I go 20 miles without stopping. When I get home I check for chafing and my sit bones are a little pink. I'm wondering if I should try a different saddle, or just keep riding the Phenom until I get use to it.
Thanks for any replies.

Keep going.

Pink is not chaffing. Pink is pressure. Unless you are really hurting, there is likely no need to change saddles.

That’s what I was hoping. Thanks a lot.

It's gonna take a while to get that mental image out of my head.

If the saddle feels comfortable during the ride and you have no post-ride discomfort, you can probably stop examining your butt cheeks and just ride.

can also depend on what saddle shape you're comin from - what saddle did you have before the Phenom?
If the shape is different, it can take a bit of time becoming accustomed...
Phenom is the saddle I spend the most time on. I have some others on a few other bikes, but when I think/know I'm doing a long multi-hour ride, the bike which has the phenom is the choice.
I don;t really have saddle problems. I could ride maybe 80% of the saddles available, as long as they have a width of 140-145.
The difference comes when I'm on the saddle for longer rides. The Phenom shape is one of the few which I can stay in-saddle for 4-5 hrs...
How often do you change your shorts ? Sometimes it's the chamois which can cause some irritation.
Ride On

I should have mentioned that, it was a Smp. I knew I would have a learning curve with the Phenom, but I think it’s very comfortable saddle. I was using the Smp for 4 or 5 years, but I wanted to try something different. Anyhow, thanks for all the replies and safe riding to everyone.

Update, I went 25 miles today and I’m more red than before. Should I give it more time, before adding more miles? Thanks again for the help.
False alarm, I had to readjust the saddle. New seatpost. I’ll try it again Friday.
