Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

When they get done rebuilding it, it will be close to an Émonda SLR 7. The only difference between this one and my wife's SLR 7 is an aluminum stem instead of a carbon one and the wheels. These will be 30 mm and her's are 37 mm. And... mine weighs less.

See the suggestions and user assistance forum for an explanation. Apparently generates more traffic. Supposedly a way to change back is coming soon.

Getting to the user assistance forum on a mobile device is damn near impossible. I am hopeful they will make some adjustments. If their goal is to recapture the volume the site saw 5-10 years ago, I think it’s too late.

New bars and tape are installed. Going to give her an hour tonight. It totally felt right sitting on it briefly yesterday when I was done wrapping it. Here's hoping!

So if I posted in General “Looking for call girl in Dubai” do you think it would be well received?

Depends. How much are you willing to pay them?

BF reversed its decision for now. Sounds like there will be a way to opt out when/if it comes back.

Looks like rain could put a damper on my overnighter Saturday—If I let it. I need to be born again hard.

How about asking if you can tag along on “girls weekend?”

Busy day today in Charlottesville. First, I went on a ride with a few guys from the local bike club. Then we got lunch at a “market” more like a food court, then a 4 mile hike near Monticello followed by some time at the “Jefferson Vineyard.” I don’t care for wine so I was the designated driver while mrs datlas sampled a few wines and had a glass o the one she liked the best.

Vacation >> work.

Here is a pic of the view from the vineyard.

Lol. It’s a fine song. I was torn between this version and Elvis Costello’s. Both are worthy.

Also Linda Rondstadt did a version too. Pretty good company.

Fun fact: Girls Talk was written by Elvis Costello but recorded/released first by Dave Edmonds, second by Linda R, and third by Elvis.
