Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Probably won't rise 'til 7 or so. Might ride a mile for a breakfast burrito and coffee.

That's even funnier.

It's New Years Eve - I'll still be trying to get some then.

Nope, just made it back home under my own power!

If by 4AM you mean 10AM, and by miles you mean eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and some grits, then yes - I’ll be right there with you.

I'll be up at 5:30 to ride but I haven't picked a ride yet. Some friends are doing a club ride of 80 miles with 5K feet of climbing. I might be the slowest one there but I might not.
The other club has a 32 mile ride but I don't think any friends will be there.

Then there is what's left of the regular NYD ride which has been going on for 52 years. The long version climbs to Mount Wilson and I think I have done that one 16 times. Last year some of us did a flatish ride and turned around before the mountain and had a lovely coffee/snack break.

First losing season in program history. I went to all home games.

The mighty Vols had a good year even beat Pitt in Pittsburgh.
