Notices
Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes they did.

With the advent of the internet, studies have shown that people, especially those that were born in the internet age, have stopped paying attention to anything other than sound bytes and bullet points. That made it rather difficult in trying lawsuits to a jury because the older people were looking for the explanation while the younger people were looing for the bullet point to tell them what to do. It became a rather tricky issue because you didn't want to leave the older people hanging with no explanation for what you were asking them to do (since that is what they needed to justify their decision), and you did not want to turn off the younger people by going into too much detail or explanation.

Might need to learn to read the room. If she's flustered/frustrated/mad/angry/pissed/tired/etc. when you talk to her, it's probably better that you not tell her you were doing something fun or that you enjoy doing. All she hears is that while she's busting her butt with the kids, you are out having a great time.

That's it, no more waving for me.

Of course, the butterfly handlebars may just give me away.

Memorize this:

"I'm sorry honey, I was tired from the flight and was sleeping so I'd be alert for my next flight. Just didn't see that you called." Again, I'm sorry, I'll try to do better."

I'm gonna make sure you've got your phone next time. I can wait, I love hanging out in fancy hotel lobbies with coffee and pastries

Yesterday, just as we got ready to board the plane to head home, my phone decided to go into update mode and shut off. Of course, I was flying with an electronic boarding pass and no longer had access to it on my phone. SMH

Fortunately, being the intrepid traveler that I am, I was able to quickly seize my wife's phone and log into the AA app and retrieve our boarding passes. Close call.

That reminds me I need to make concrete plans to get down and stay a night or two in this hotel. C&V hotel lobbies are the best!

This place is kind of modern style. It's no Holiday Inn, but it's comfortable.

I find videos where they change the scene every two seconds maddening to watch.

This is the environment I was forced to endure for an half hour yesterday: (I kept hoping for a Darling Nikki scenario to unfold, but probably unlikely at 0830 hrs.)

Apparently they have this awesome lap pool, bringing my trunks next time
