Addiction 2023.1

Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

Depends. What is he riding.

If Mrs Bam demanded a dogma f 12 tomorrow, we would have some issues. Unless of course we were buying 2.

Her husband can afford it and she doesn't have other expensive habits. They're both retired and a nice bike is so much cheaper than things she could be after. I don't know why he's making a fuss. Of course, it's not my money.

Realized something the other day while riding with Lester.

Itís been over a year since the last time I crashed.

Over 10,000 miles and not even a failure to unclip.

I am taking tomorrow off.

I'm sure if you were retired and you rode together several times per week you would love for her to have the ride she wanted, especially if you had yours.

I tend to agree with you. Of course, easy for me because AG can buy her own bikes.

Itís currently 50 degrees outside, so decided to do another ride. This mornjng was 28 degrees, which I donít particularly mind, nor do I particularly care for. 28 degrees makes it hard to do much other than zone 2.

Anyways, it was nice to actually ride in normal temperatures. I took the old 5200 out. Iíve determined that it is not a 5500 but a 5200. I used google images for my research and did not cite my work.

I really like how it feels in a sprint. Seems like so much less effort to get it get up and go. I wonder if itís the group set or frame geometry or my incredible quads. Maybe, all the above.
