This mornings ride sucked. Took the madone out. Plan was to do zone 2 and 4 sprints. I’m not sure what was going on but it took way too much power to go anywhere. At one point I was putting out 300 watts to go 17 mph on flat ground. Areas that I am usually doing 21-23 at 165 watts I was doing 16 mph at 195 watts.
Wind wasn’t an issue and I wasn’t wearing anything baggy. I don’t get it.

Yea my HR was elevated too. It was weird. I don’t know if something was wrong with the madone. I took the ritchey out for team practice. That went okay but I could tell the earlier ride zapped my energy. I did one lap and packed it in.
My HRV and my training load for the week was fine.
I’ll have to check the madone maybe the wheel needs service? I don’t know. Even on descents where I usually hit 30+ mph I only hit like 26 mph.
