Addiction 2023.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thinking of putting the crabon Eastons back on the Lemond, see if it's under 20lbs with them and new wheels.

I could also chop a bunch of mms of the seatpost since it it's rather maximally inserted as it sits.

Ribald rejoinders aside, some folks think they are making a cute semantic argument, but it's neither cute, nor an actual argument. Hence the eyerolling gif I posted.

Yeah. I need to remind myself to stay away from General. No good will come of it.

I am well aware of the myriad possible causes and how tough it can be to isolate the cause.

I have already verified BB seems tight, as are crank fixing bolts and chainring bolts. I suspect it may be from one of the pedals. I cannot isolate it (of course) but the pedals are quite old and I have a new set I bought when I got the new groupset but was too lazy to break out when I did the build.

I went ahead and put the new pedals on this evening and fingers crossed that will solve the problem. If not, I may need to seek professional help.

Try putting a little rubbing compound in the head when it's time to remove them. I would say valve lapping compound but I'm guessing you wont have it. Any way course rubbing compound should do the same thing. Unless they are really buggered.

Imagine the news headlines though. It would be a small feat to fly the plane over empty, wouldn't it? I was thinking he'd do it with passengers aboard. That would probably make for some additional charges.

It's one thing to go aftermarket, but a whole nuther batch of bad juju to go cross-market.

I learnt my lesson using a Specialized water bottle on my Trek bike.

I can vouch for Toradol. Hopefully it now gets taken proper care of though.

Not really. From the time he puts the spreader thingie in my eye to injection to rinsing is probably 45 seconds. I'll settle for that.
