Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think this one is the base model non-turbo, but they're pretty much a FWD Miata. I'd rather have a black or red one, but that white one's in good shape and a nice price.

I actually need both the Jeep and the Capri, for reasons

323 GTX. That was rare, just over 1200 sent to the US. Nice.

I do skeet, clays and 5-stand as well. Currently have a Baretta A400 Excel. Wanting a o/u, and the wife gave me the go ahead to trade her dads Browning semi-auto. Likely end up with Citori or Silver Pidgeon.

Yes! It was a rally car for the street. Center differential lock, low profile tires, 5 speed, and nice interior. Great for the mountain roads.

My first o/u was a Citori Lightning. Still have it and love it. Also have a tubed 682 Gold E skeet that I bought from a guy at my club. Have a couple others I’ve picked up along the way. Truth be told, the Citori is my favorite shotgun, full stop.

I hate to post this but as everyone on BF knows or should know, gun talk is strictly verboten and has been for years. We don't allow it in other forums and threads and Addiction is no exception. I hate to be the heavy here for personal reasons.

I’ll share the burden with you, this is something everyone who’s been here over a week should already know.

car discussion / state of mind can be important

for me it helps to make my bike and component purchases seem insignificant lol

Fenceposts and rocks are my faves.

Cloudy and breezy yesterday, but slightly warmer, dead calm, and sunny today, gonna ride somewhere after oatmeal...

Someone just posted this today, Porsche built two 914s with 8 cylinders from the 908 - Vroooom!

unfortunately the post did not include engine bay pics

i have been mourning the loss of my favorite travel tripod for years. gitzo 1541t with a tiny RRS BH-25 ball head and mini screw knob clamp. the beauty of it was that when folded all the way around, the head and clamp actually fit between the legs. not the setup for super heavy gear but an incredibly high stability/extension to folded size ratio.

i loaned it to my brother who claims i didn’t loan it to him. i should have known better, both his car and bike are the same shade of blue (riviera blue (i think) m3 and true blue endurace) whereas mine are all nearly the same shade of dark grey/black.
