Addiction 2023.1

Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

Very similar to some Cervelo bars. I'd be lusting if I still rode.

yes - that is what I was referring to

I believe my ‘92 5200 OCLV is sized C-T ... seat tube rises around 20-30 mm (?) above the top tube

old Cannondales possibly also - think my old SR400 and 2.8 / R800 were sized C-T ... ?

I missed much of the marigold jacket talk. However, these are at least a majority solution to a two-decade issue for me, so I'll say... yes!

There was a video of a guy racing on a straightaway. He hit a guy that cut him off and flew over the bars, landed in a heap, flop/slid off the pavement. His screams gave me nightmares for weeks. I had to go back and watch it over and over to desensitized myself to it. NO THANK YOU. I'm to heavy for that kind of landing.

Speaking of jackets. I received my lost rain jacket in the mail a couple weeks ago. The nice lady from the Assenmacher 100 mailed it to me. I had just about given up on ever seeing it again. Now I have 3 of them lol. Maybe I'll get to wear one this year.

In keeping with the thread Title, I think I've developed a boot addiction. A pair of my Cowboy boots became impregnated with salt water a few weeks ago. It became kind of weirdly important to me to fix this problem. I bought polishes and conditioners and saddle soap. And some brushes. 2 weeks later. My boots are saltless and shiny ....all 3 pairs....pair #4 showed up yesterday. They are the wrong color. I Wanted black, and ended up with Espreso, somehow.... I'm keeping them. And for some reason pair #5 hasn't shipped yet even though I paid for them before #4..... ...how's that work? Now I'm staying up till all hours watching boot restoration videos and resoleing videos.. yeah...buff that polish..... I'm outa control....
