Addiction 2023.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sad.
I graduated in winter 1971 @ 16 years old. I hated school so much I took extra classes on Saturdays and during summer so I could amass enough credits to graduate.
Soon after that they stopped winter grad classes.

My sister did the same thing, for the same reason, later in the same decade.

I think I'm the grandpa of the group, unless someone else wants to volunteer and step up.

Lemme see - in 1981, I was working at Cornell as a Lab Technician, but somebody told me the REAL money was in industry, so I applied for and got a job at Genentech, one of the very first Biotechs. I was 24.
