Addiction 2023.1

Notices
Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

Love California. Just can't afford it full time.

In prep for some springtime gravel events I ordered some Tufo Thunderos a week ago. Was hoping theyd be here in time for a gravel ride this weekend, but its looking like that wont happen.

With the dumping of snow we just got, Rasputitsa on 4/29 is probably going to be super muddy, Im pretty excited about that.

Im not in the shape I want to be to handle 100K on dirt/mud with over 7000 feet of climbing. My goal was to have a moving average of 16.5, we will see I guess.

Nope, but both are in the category of things I would not want to live yards away from.

We have a pickle factory about a mile from my office. The place frequently stinks like you would not believe. It's far enough away from me though.

What kind - organic, hydroponic or hybrid?

Not hydroponic.

Where does one connect with farmers who rent land to grow crops? I don't even know where to look.
